Vision takes a look at the World Air Games animating Dubai's skyline this month
The World Air Games (WAG), an international multi-discipline air sports event, is being held in Dubai from December 1 to 12, 2015. The event brings together more than 850 air sports competitors from some 55 countries to contend in 23 different disciplines. Vision picks some of the highlights from the show that has dazzled the emirate’s tourists and residents over the past days.
To celebrate the United Arab Emirates’ 44th National Day, marking the unification of the country’s seven emirates, 44 balloons were released into the Dubai sky on December 2.
Jetmen of Dubai
Famous for taking to the skies alongside the Emirates A380 superjumbo, Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet, also known as the Jetmen of Dubai, wow the crowds at the World Air Games 2015, as they fly their jetpack wings in formation with renowned aerobatic pilot Zoltan Veres and his team.
Breitling Wingwalkers, Dubai
Breitling Wingwalkers, the world’s only aerobatic formation wingwalking team, fly over iconic landmarks in Dubai. In addition to performing spectacular aerial displays at WAG, Breitling also announced an exclusive partnership with Skydive Dubai that will seek to create unique experiences for thrill seekers in the UAE.

The UAE's national aerobatic display team, known as Al Fursan, dazzled Dubai with several performances throughout WAG, using coloured smoke to create stunning skies.
