The results of Sony Music Entertainment Middle East’s Audience Segmentation poll reveal surprising – and diverse – music trends in the UAE

Described by Mike Fairburn, General Manager, Sony Music Entertainment Middle East, as a "deep dive into regional music habits," the Middle East's first music insight poll reveals and in-depth analysis of listener psychology in the Emirates. 

Over 5000 locals aged 15 to 55 participated in the study, which involved answering a thorough series of questions spanning music, media and lifestyle habits. The results showcased varied tastes befitting the UAE's international population, with audience favourites ranging from Arabic Pop and Khaleeji to Bollywood and Jazz. Vision presents the most exciting statistics in an infographic gallery.
