A glimpse at what it takes to put together an international literary festival, from organising the theme to booking the authors and gathering an enthusiastic team of volunteers.
The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is one of the world's leading literature events, attracting authors from all corners of the globe who convert Dubai's Festival City into a vibrant wonderland.
This year the festival theme is 'Time' as well as a celebration of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare.
A wide and varied list of authors will be in attendance such as astronaut Chris Hadfield, comedienne Meera Syal, poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, Jacqueline Wilson, Anthony Horowitz, Faisal J Abbas and Helen MacDonald, among many talented others.
