Tiger’s back: Woods returns to iconic landmark ahead of Dubai Desert Classic

Ahead of the 2017 Omega Dubai Desert Classic in February, Tiger Woods paid a visit to the iconic Burj Al Arab.

The former world no. 1 famously hit golf balls from the luxury hotel’s helipad in 2004 and was back there again this year, taking a helicopter tour of the city alongside HE Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council.

Woods plans to open his own specially designed 18-hole championship golf course in Dubai in 2019.
