Meet Kerby Rosanes, the illustrator who turned his love for doodling into a thriving career

Kerby Rosanes took a huge risk when he quit his job to become a professional illustrator. But it paid off: Rosanes is now a successful artist, in Dubai for the 2017 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. He speaks to Vision about Animorphia, his book of fantastical, elaborate ink doodles that, he says, reflect the depths of his mind.

"Art is self-expression, not perfection," he says. "If you aim art for perfection, then you're going in the wrong direction, because there is no perfect art"
